ACTIB – Águeda Action Club – was present this past weekend in Lausanne, Switzerland, at the Annual Meeting of MXGP World Championship Organisers, an event promoted by Infront Moto Racing and the FIM – Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme.
The meeting brought together organisers of the 20 rounds that make up the MXGP calendar, with representatives from across the globe including Europe, China, Turkey, Australia, and Argentina. The main highlights of the 2025 season were reviewed, along with the presentation of new developments and organisational and regulatory changes for the 2026 season.
ACTIB President, Tiago Silva, highlighted the recognition received by the Portuguese organisers: “It was truly rewarding to see that the organisation of the MXGP of Portugal by ACTIB was repeatedly used as a reference for excellent event management and, above all, as an example of determination, resilience, and commitment in hosting an event under extremely challenging conditions, as was the case in the 2024 and 2025 editions. This was acknowledged by Infront, the FIM, and all the organisers present! The ACTIB team is to be congratulated, and I’m extremely proud to be part of such a capable team. Every year, the bar is set a little higher, and 2026 is no exception. We’ll be ready for what’s to come!”
This international recognition strengthens Portugal’s position on the global motocross stage, underlining the professionalism and dedication of the national organisers.
The next edition of the MXGP of Portugal is already confirmed for 26, 27, and 28 June 2026. The Águeda International Motocross Track will once again host a round of the MXGP World Championship, reaffirming its importance on the international calendar and its continued commitment to organisational excellence.
